Traffic tickets can be paid online or over the phone between the hours of 5:30 a.m. and 10 p.m.

Within 30 days of receiving the citation, the Clerk’s office must receive written notice of how you choose to satisfy your citation. Failure to comply will result in your driver's license being suspended without notice, additional costs assessed and a stop placed on the renewal of your auto registration.

Pay By Phone

Paying a ticket by credit card over the phone can be accomplished in two to three minutes.  The ticket payer needs to know the citation number and have a VISA or MasterCard credit card available.  Debit cards are not accepted by this system.  The phone number for paying under this system is (561) 355-2523 or 888-760-9201 from South County or the Glades.  The caller must hit selection No. 2.  The system, which offers a Spanish language option, is available from 6 a.m. to midnight, Monday through Friday, and 6 a.m. to noon on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.

If you were cited for no proof of insurance, no driver license in possession, or driver license/registration expired less than 6 months, YOU MUST PROVIDE PROOF (such as a photocopy) and payment according to the Service Charges & Fees.

Defective equipment charged under F. S. 316.610 or 316.2935: if corrected within 30 days and certified as corrected by a police officer or sheriff on the affidavit on the back of your yellow citation, you will have no points assessed and the total fee will be according to the Service Charges & Fees.
